What’s in your gym bag?
Want to know a little secret? (Of course you do!)
A well-stocked gym bag can actually help you make fitness a priority in your life.
Think about it.
If you have everything you need, it’s going to be a lot easier to head out the door for an early-morning workout. (Tip: Pack your bag the night before!)
And, if you’re planning to squeeze in a workout after work, you’re going to be a lot more inclined to honor that commitment if you can skip a pitstop at home.
Put simply, a gym bag eliminates resistance. If yours isn’t loaded with must-have essentials that you love, it’s time to stock up!

- Comfortable workout clothes (if you won’t already be wearing them)
- Shoes and socks
- Shampoo, conditioner and body wash (if you’re planning to shower away from home)
- Dry shampoo
- Cleansing wipes
- A towel
- A water bottle
- A post-workout snack (preferably protein to nourish those muscles!)
