Soak up the sights, sounds and smells of spring!
Hello, sunshine!
Walking, biking and other outdoor activities are a great way to boost your health, and with daily forecasts in the 80s for the next several days, there couldn’t be a better time to enjoy the great outdoors!
When you’re out and about this week, we encourage you to soak up the sights, sounds and smells of the season.
Pay attention to the budding trees and blooming flowers.
Listen to the chirping birds and buzzing bees.
And breathe in the fresh air.
You’ll likely feel completely energized, thanks to nature’s therapeutic tendencies.
By the way, there’s all kinds of science to support the claim that being outside is good for you.
Nature therapy, or ecotherapy, is the practice of spending time in natural environments as a way to encourage growth and healing. It can be especially useful in improving one’s mental health.
Put simply: Being outside is one of the simplest ways to enhance your mood.
And because exercise is a natural mood-booster, too, it’s easy to see why a simple outdoor workout packs a powerful punch!
So what are you waiting for? Lace up those sneakers and EMBRACE SPRING! (We’ll be right there with ya!)
